TEEN SCENE


Come and bring your friends to the Young Adult area in the library. New books are added frequently to the fiction and non-fiction sections including current reads and best selling titles. Sit down in the lounge area and enjoy listening to the stereo with headphones or bring your own listening device. Comfy chairs are provided for relaxation, reading, or conversation.




PRESCHOOL STORYHOUR


2 to 5 years old


Preschool Storyhour is a free service of the Hardin County Public Library. This program offers an open door to learning before formal education begins.


Each gathering consists of music, story(ies) and a craft, that promote development and learning and are designed for parents to participate with their children.


Preschool Storyhour provides children with an opportunity to enhance their social skills, motor development, help them play with letters and sounds, to become familiar with the library's resources and encourage an understanding and enjoyment of books and reading.


Comfy chairs provided in the Young Adult area for

relaxation, reading or conversation.
